After another critically acclaimed season in 2017 Queens Shakespeare, in partnership with What Dreams May Co., returns to the stage for presentations of Godspell (Book: John Michael Tebelak, Music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and Henry IV by William Shakespeare (parts I and II combined). Director Christina Sheehan’s modern revolutionary inspired design explores the idea of a diverse group with many modern voices of resistance, coming together with one visionary leader, to form one community, and ultimately learn how to make their own “light” shine to make a brighter world. This popular musical retelling of the Gospel of Matthew, brings its messages of kindness, tolerance, and love vibrantly to life.

June 28 th – July 07 TH (Thursdays and Fridays at 7PM and Saturdays at 2PM & 7PM)
AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Sunday April 8th 2-6pm
(Callbacks are Sunday April 15th 2-6pm.)
We are looking for people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, genders, orientations, and gender expressions to join the cast. The role of Jesus is cast.
Those who speak multiple languages, play instruments, are Improv/clowning artists, do impressions (especially political impressions), or know acrobatics encouraged to attend.
