Please prepare 32 bars in the style of the show. Please be prepared to dance (tap included). Auditions will involve reading from the script.
Rehearsals will begin approximately August 1st. Performances September 16th – October 22nd.
Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Also scheduled: 1 Thursday evening – October 12th, 2 Wednesday matinees - September 27th
and October 18th. All roles open and paid. Restaurant opportunities available.

Character breakdown
Fanny Brice - Mezzo - Low G to High F. Star of the Ziegfield Follies. Requires wide comedic and dramatic range. Assertive. Confident. 20's-30's.
Nick Arnstein - Bari-tenor - Low E-High E. Suave gambler. Can lose or make a fortune without ever losing his cool. 30's-50's.
Mrs. Brice Mezzo Low Ab to C. Fanny's sharp-tongued mother. Sympathetic and supportive. 40's-?
Eddie Ryan - Bari-tenor - Low B-High F#. A theater choreographer. Lives to dance. Fanny's friend who is secretly in love with her. Ability to tap.
Mrs. Strakosh - Mezzo - Low B# to D#. Mrs. Brice's friend and neighbor. Strident...nosy. 40's-?
Florenz Ziegfeld - Owner of the Ziegfeld Follies. A legend in the business. Powerful, forceful producer.
Various supporting/ensemble roles. Ensemble must be comfortable with tap.
