AGE RESTRICTIONS
READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE
PARENTS: There is a parent volunteer requirement of working at 2 performances (per ACTOR) for your child/children to be cast in this show. If you are unable to volunteer there will be a $50.00 participation fee required for your child's participation. Volunteer sign up or fee paid will be due at the Mandatory Company meetings.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are cast in this show there will be a MANDATORY company meeting for ALL CAST members AND a PARENT/GUARDIAN on Friday, March 20 @ 7:00pm OR Saturday, March 28, @11:00am. You MUST ATTEND one of these meetings in order to participate in the show.
BOTH PERFORMER AND A PARENT MUST ATTEND!
(If you were in the cast of CPM's Frozen, Matilda, or Emperor you will be excused from this meeting.)
If you have not been cast in a CPM show before - Please bring a photograph of yourself to attach to your audition form. This does NOT need to be a formal headshot. Any size photo will work.
Auditions for this show are for:
Females ages 12 to 18.
YOU MUST LOOK LIKE YOU ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL
Males ages 10 to 18.
There is one child male role available, all others MUST LOOK LIKE YOU ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL.
(If age 18 student must still be in high school)
We ask that you list all conflicts that you have between March 13 and April 30, 2020 on your audition form.
PLEASE NOTE:
Conflicts during Tech Week (April 25 - April 30, 2020) will affect casting decisions. We prefer no conflicts during this week.
Rehearsals are normally three weeknights from 6:30 to 9:00pm and 12:00 to 6:00pm on Saturdays and/or Sundays, except Tech/Dress weeks when they will be 12:00 to 6:00pm on Sat. and Sun. and weeknights from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

6:30 - 8:30pm
(You need to be signed in by 8:30pm in order to audition. Each audition group will take about 30 minutes. If we get a lot of auditionees there will be a long wait time between each group.)

Regular shows @ 1:00pm

** 2 shows that day 1:00pm & 4:30pm
(Actor call time 10:00am for 1:00pm performances)
PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Prepare 32 measures (or one verse and one chorus) of a song that shows off your voice the best (not too high or too low for your vocal range). The song does not need to be from the show.
BRING THE SHEET MUSIC WITH YOU OR A KARAOKE CD
(CD can have no lead vocals)
You may or may not be asked to read from the script.
Please dress appropriately and bring dance shoes, if you own them to change into for a dance audition. If you do not have dance shoes, please wear comfortable shoes you can move in.
