Starvox Entertainment is a full-service production company that produces, manages, represents and promotes theatrical and cross-over performing arts shows that tour the world. Starvox tours shows across Canada and the United States, aswell as México, China, the Middle East and Europe.
Evil Dead: The Musical is a comic stage musical based on the cult classic film series. First performed on stage in 2003 at the Tranzac club in Toronto, Canada, the show instantly became a hit and eventually moved on to an off-Broadway run in 2006. The show has been performed in over 70 different countries, most recently in a hugely successful 12-week run in Toronto. Critics praised the show and The New York Times called it ”… the next The Rocky Horror Picture Show”.
All Actors in Evil Dead, The Musical need to be strong comedic performers, strong singers and good movers. The actors also must be comfortable with stage combat and being covered in blood.
Rehearsals:
Aug. 5-Sept.8 2014
Rehearsal salary: $400/week
Tour:
Sept. 10- Spring 2015
Conditions:
Must be ok with split weeks, to be prorated on a per-show basis
Must act as NON-EQUITY
Salary:
Lead (”Ash”)- $600/week
Others- $500/week
All accommodations (up to double occupancy) and transportation provided plus $30/day per diem when outside of Chicago
