Celebrity Cruises is seeking cutting edge, dynamic professional performers for the inaugural cast of “Eden”, an immersive experience featured on Celebrity Cruises’ newest addition to the fleet, Celebrity Edge! Rehearsals begin October 2018; Shipboard contract ranges from 4-8 months from the beginning of November 2018.
Performers should be excellent storytellers with an engaging, welcoming and real presence; must be comfortable and excited to interact directly with audience members; grounded and real performers who can fully become their characters for an evening, and who are able to pull from their own experience on the spot in filling out a character and interacting with the audience; experience working in devised theatrical settings, environmental and immersive theater, and storytelling encouraged, but not required.
Especially Seeking: Edenists – Seeking fit, athletic and technically trained dancers with a strong background in expressionist and contemporary dance styles. Dancers should be comfortable performing barefoot. Additional performing skills - gymnastics, juggling, contortion, balancing, magic a plus. Union & Non-Union performers over the age of 18 are encouraged to submit. Diversity strongly encouraged.
