Possum Point Players set auditions for 'Elf The Musical'

Director Kenney Workman, Music Director Diane Trautman, and Choreographer Bliss Soucek will hold auditions for the Possum Point Players' production of Elf The Musical on Monday, Sept 13, and Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 7:00 pm. Auditions are at PPP's Possum Hall, 441 Old Laurel Rd., Georgetown.

Those auditioning should bring a prepared vocal selection with either sheet music for the accompanist or pre-recorded accompaniment without vocals. The audition will also include readings from the script and some basic dance movement.

The cast requires eight principal roles, three adult females, four adult male, and one 12-ish year-old boy. Also, to be cast is an ensemble of ten to twelve actors/singers/dancers, male or female, who will portray elves, customers, fake Santas, employees, security guards, etc. Except for the young boy, all roles are for ages from teens and up. All roles require singing.
