Mad Cow Theatre announces pick-up audition for Dreamgirls
MAD COW THEATRE is holding a pick-up audition for its upcoming production of Dreamgirls with music by Henry Krieger and lyrics and book by Tom Eyen, directed by Ray Hatch. Production dates are June 7 through June 30, 2013, with a possible extension.
Mad Cow Theatre is seeking professional singers/actors/dancers. Auditioners should prepare 32 bars from an up-tempo musical theatre song and bring a picture and resume. An accompanist will be provided. Please come prepared to move. Auditions are by appointment only.
We are casting several different roles for both women and men, including those of C.C. and Dave.
C.C. – African American male with a bari-tenor range with a high A. 20s - 30s age range. Must be able to move well.
Dave – Caucasian male, a strong tenor. Must be able to move well.
We are also looking to fill Chorus roles (3 male, 1 female).
