[CLIFFORD BRADSHAW] M 20’s-Mid 30’s. A poor, young, closeted, American novelist and English tutor entering into the world of 1930’s Berlin to seek inspiration for his novel.
[SALLY BOWLES] F 20’s-Mid 30’s. A whimsical, carefree, sexy English Cabaret singer in Berlin, forced to confront responsibility and reality through her relationship to CLIFF and the world around her.
[FRAULEIN SCHNEIDER] F 50+. An elderly German landlady in Berlin who finds love with HERR SCHULTZ. A hardened realist forced to choose between her own happiness and survival.
[HERR SCHULTZ] F 50+. An elderly Jewish German Fruit Shop owner in love with FRAULEIN SCHNEIDER.
[FRAULEIN KOST] F 20’s- 40’s. A German prostitute popular with the local sailors living in FRAULEIN SCHNEIDER’s apartments.
[ERNST LUDWIG]M 18+ German. A friend to all, and student of CLIFF. Supporter of the Nazi party.
