Open Call for Dancers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10am (Females) and 2pm (Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 12th Floor, NYC.
Callbacks for Singers will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
Seeking:
FEMALE SINGERS: Any ethnicity. Should read 20's to early 40's. Dynamic mature performers who can command a stage. Must be versatile across a wide range of genres, strong in belt & mix with quality in legit and secure harmonizing skills. Soprano to Top C and belt/mix to E/F an advantage. Must move well.
MALE SINGERS: Any ethnicity. Should read 20's to early 40's. Dynamic mature performers who can command a stage. Must be versatile across a wide range of genres, high-baritones and tenors required with good falsetto and secure harmonizing skills. Top G essential with full voice to Top B/C an advantage. Must move well.
MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS: Any ethnicity. Strong, versatile dancers with lean, toned physiques and great technique who are comfortable performing a wide range of dance styles from ballet to commercial jazz to theatre. Ballroom/partnering experience a plus. Pointe work a plus for females.
Preparation:
Singers and Singer/Dancers: Prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing range and star quality. Have a contrasting selection ready in case you are asked. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.
Dancers: A brief dance combination will be taught. Callbacks will be held later in the same day. Bring form-fitting dance attire that shows your silhouette. Women bring character heels and flats. All bring headshot and resume stapled together. If you have strong pointe, please bring pointe shoes.
Onboard Pay Rate: $4,299/month for Singers. $2,151/month for Dancers. Travel provided.
Rehearsals in Southampton, UK. Worldwide itineraries. Casting will be ongoing throughout 2018.
