CLASSICAL THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES OPEN GENERAL AUDITIONS FOR 2013-2014 MAINSTAGE SEASON
Announcing auditions for the Classical Theatre Company’s (CTC) 2013-2014 Mainstage Season. These general auditions are open to all actors and will be held on Saturday June 22nd and Sunday June 23rd, 2013 from 10:00AM – 5:00PM each day. They will take place at Studio 101 in Spring Street Studios - 1824 Spring Street Houston, TX 77007.
Audition slots are limited and are first come, first served. Actors may sign up for auditions beginning at 9:00AM CST on Monday June 3rd, 2013. To reserve an audition slot, each actor must email
auditions@classicaltheatre.org with their full name, cell phone number, and audition day preference (if any). Any emails that arrive earlier than the stated start time or only provide partial information will be disregarded.
At the auditions, actors will have up to three minutes to perform two contrasting classical monologues (at least one in verse). Actors may also be asked to stay for a brief interview. All participants must bring two headshots and resumes, stapled together.
Both Equity and non-Equity actors are encouraged to audition. The Classical Theatre Company utilizes Equity Special Appearance Tier II contracts if applicable.
