CAROUSEL

EQUITY AND NON-EQUITY AUDITIONS: MARCH 18-20 at Reagle Music Theatre
WHAT: Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston is holding auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical CAROUSEL, kicking off the company’s 48thAnniversary Summer Season. Equity and Non-Equity actors are encouraged to audition. AEA Principal Auditions/Chorus Call are by appointment; non-equity Principals/Ensemble are by open call. CAROUSEL will run from June 9-19, 2016 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA) and will star the acclaimed Boston-area actress Jennifer Ellis (My Fair Lady, Shear Madness) as Julie Jordan and Broadway actor Ciarán Sheehan (Les Misérables, Phantom) as Billy Bigelow. The show will be directed and choreographed by Rachel Bertone, with music direction by Dan Rodriguez and artistic direction/production by Robert Eagle.

* Non-Equity: Sign-ins for non-equity auditions will begin at 1:45 P.M. and close at 10:00 P.M. on Friday, March 18th. Non-equity auditioners will be seen in the order in which they arrive whenever no Equity member is auditioning or waiting to audition.
WHO: Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston (RMT) has been bringing Broadway-quality musical theatre to the greater Boston area for 48 seasons. Under the creative direction of Robert J. Eagle, the company’s summer season receives rave reviews on an annual basis and has earned Reagle a reputation as one of the top theaters in the Boston area. The company’s 2016 summer season will include: Carousel, the powerful love story between an innocent millworker and a swaggering carnival barker (June 9- 19); Thoroughly Modern Millie, an adventurous musical about a small-town girl who moves to New York to lead a fresh new life (July 7-17), and the musical comedy Crazy For You, a high-energy production set in the 1930s about a playboy who just wants to dance (August 4-14).
