AUDITIONS for Cape Rep’s 2017 Season
Cape Rep Theatre will hold auditions for its 2017 season of plays and musicals on Saturday, February 25 from 1-5 pm and Sunday, February 26 from 1-5 pm at Cape Rep Indoor Theater, 3299 Rte 6A, Brewster, MA 02631. Among the shows we are producing in the Indoor Theater will be Billy Elliot, the Musical with music by Elton John and book and lyrics by Lee Hall, and a new play with music written by Damian Baldet and Alison Weller about the Cape Cod fishing industry, and an original play for children by local playwright Holly Erin McCarthy in the Outdoor Theater.
Auditions will be by appointment. If you are unable to make an appointment, we will try to see people on a first-come-first-served basis in between scheduled appointments. If auditioning for a musical, please prepare one ballad and one up-tempo piece. You may be asked to cold-read from a script. It is always helpful if you have prepared a monologue but not necessary. Wear appropriate clothing for movement. Bring a headshot and resume, if any. There may be callbacks. Please email an appointment request along with your headshot and resume to
