Teatro SEA, NY’s award-winning Latino theatre for young audiences is seeking Bilingual (English & Spanish), versatile actors, actor-singers, dancers, and puppeteers to play a variety of characters in various productions in Teatro SEA's Repertory. Roles may include Frida Khalo, Pura Belpre, Celia Cruz, Roberto Clemente, Rosa Parks, The Prince (Cinderella), Narrator in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Male Afro/Latino actor comfortable with Shakespearean text and experienced in creating unique voices for multiple characters within the production) and various superheroes.

Note: Performers will be part of SEA’s citywide tour and performances at the theater's home base on the Lower East Side during the 2019-2020 season. Performers must be able to speak and/or sing in Spanish and English.

AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: All Ethnicities are encouraged to submit. Performers must prepare a short monologue and 16 bars of an up-tempo or ballad (bring sheet music). If the song is in Spanish, then the monologue must be in English and vice-versa (casting must hear you perform in both languages).
