Children's Dance Audition for November Performances at the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ, September 22, 2013

Seeking Young Dancers Ages 6 to 9 with Good Ballet Technique to Participate in

Rehearsals and Performances

Ballets with a Twist will hold a children’s audition on

Sunday, September 22nd at the Bickford Theatre inside the Morris Museum

(6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown, NJ 07960),

from 10:00 to 11:30 am

Those auditioning should demonstrate an ability to learn choreography in a professional setting, and be available for several weeknight rehearsals in Morristown in November.

Selected dancers will join the company for performances at the Bickford Theatre on November 23rd and 24th, dancing alongside company members in choreographer Marilyn Klaus’ “Mint Julep,” a nostalgic depiction of Kentucky Derby traditions.

The Museum is located at 6 Normandy Heights Road (at the corner of Columbia Turnpike) in Morristown, NJ, and is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 12-5 p.m. Admission to the museum is $10 for adults and $7 for children, students and senior citizens. Admission is always free for museum members and is free to the public the second and third Thursdays of the month between 4 and 8 p.m. For more information, call
