We are seeking performers described below. Performers should have dynamic voices, dance/move well and be strong actors.
CHAD
Male (Bari-Tenor): a great-lookin', motorcycling, guitar-playing, hip-swiveling, leather-jacketed roustabout, just released from prison.
NATALIE HALLER
Female (Alto) (Early 20's): a mechanic, dreaming of love and adventure.
DEAN HYDE
Male (Tenor) (16): Mayor’s son has grown up at a military boarding school. Hopelessly in love, Dean and Lorraine run off together
LORRAINE
Female (Mezzo Belt) (16): Sylvia's daughter. Hopelessly in love, Dean and Lorraine decide to run off together
MISS SANDRA
Female (Alto): the beautiful, intellectual caretaker of the town's museum.
DENNIS
Male (High Tenor): a young, awkward, aspiring dentist, Natalie’s best friend with a secret crush on her.
JIM HALLER
Male (Baritone) (mid 40's-50's): Natalie's widowed father.
MAYOR MATILDA HYDE
Female (Mezzo) (mid 40's-50's): the town's conservative mayor, who is cracking down on the immoral behavior through the town
SYLVIA
Female Alto Belt) (mid 40's): the no-nonsense, African-American owner of SYLVIA'S HONKY-TONK.
SHERIFF EARL
Male (Baritone)(mid 40's-50's): the law in town, a man of not many words.
Earl speaks for the first time when he professes his love for Matilda.
ENSEMBLE
A variety of vocal ranges and ages, each playing several roles. 10-12 male and/or females needed.

What to Prepare: MUSIC REQUIREMENTS:
Please prepare 32 bars. It is encouraged to sing from the show. Must show range. Bring sheet music in the correct key (we will have the score). A piano accompanist will be provided but will not transpose.
DANCE REQUIREMENTS: Some actors will be taught a short dance combination at the audition, so please bring clothes to move in and flat jazz shoes. Please come prepared.
