Adapted by Ernest Zulia
Music by David Caldwell
Directed by Robyn LeGris
Auditions Dates: March 23 & 24, 2014 7PM at the Pearl Theater
Kindergarten takes a funny, insightful, heartwarming look at what is profound in everyday life, and has earned standing ovations all over the world. This collection of delightful stories features colorful characters and celebrates our very existence, from the whimsy of childhood to the wisdom of old age. Based on the best –selling books by Robert Fulghum. Conceived and adapted by Ernest Zulia.
Roles are open for men and women ages 20 – 100.
We are also looking for a pianist who could also have a character role.
There will be some singing involved for a couple of the characters and the ensemble will sing the title song. (but if you can't sing that is ok too)
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and we would also like you to tell a story from your life (real or imagined). The story can be funny, heartwarming, scary or dramatic, your choice, 1 to 3 minutes. If you are a singer, you can prepare a song to sing a cappella.
Please come prepared with a recent head shot (or photo), any scheduling conflicts, and acting resume if available.
Only one audition is required, but if you would like to come both days that is welcome too.
