South Bend Civic Theatre will hold auditions for Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer
Prize winner August: Osage County March 4-5 at 7 PM in the Wilson
Mainstage Auditorium, 403 N. Main Street South Bend.
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony award for Best Play, this
blistering portrait of a family in crisis has been hailed as the
greatest American play of our time. When the patriarch of the Weston
clan goes missing, the family gathers together, revealing years of
pain, addiction, abuse, and infidelity. Ruthlessly profane and
savagely funny, you will not want to miss this astounding and
monumental work by the playwright of Superior Donuts.
Rehearsals for August: Osage County are slated to begin March 11.
Performances will be May 10-19 in the Wilson Mainstage Auditorium.
