ARTEMISIA HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR ITS 2016-17 THEATRE SEASON
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Artemisia, a Chicago Theatre that produces visionary, female-driven plays, will hold auditions on May 6, 2016, from 10 am to 5 pm at Actors’ Equity, 557 W. Randolph Street in Chicago for its 2016-17 Theatre Season. A lunch break will be scheduled from 1 to 2 pm. AEA, EMC and Non-Equity actors are encouraged to audition, but EMC and Non-Equity actors will be seen only after all attending AEA actors have auditioned. All positions are paid.
Men and Women of all ages, types and ethnic backgrounds and transgender actors, are sought for Artemisia's Fall Festival 2016, SHREWISH and the world premiere of VISITING. Artemisia produces its annual Fall Festival under AEA Staged Reading code. SHREWISH & VISTING will be produced under an AEA Chicago Area Theatre Tier 1 contract.
