The Theatre Group at SBCC announces
auditions for the summer production of
ARSENIC AND OLD LACE
The Theatre Group at SBCC will hold open auditions for the first play of the 2014-2015 season ARSENIC AND OLD LACE by Joseph Kesselring, directed by Katie Laris, on April 28 & 29, 6:30-9:30pm by appointment in the Garvin Theatre.
Roles are available for 3 women and 11 men of varying ages. All roles are open. Two sweet and charming elderly ladies have taken it upon themselves to speed their elderly gentlemen friends to their heavenly reward with their own home-brewed elderberry wine. When their nephew, Mortimer, on the verge of engagement, stumbles upon the family secret he desperately tries to patch things up, but ends up really having his hands full dealing with one brother who believes he is Teddy Roosevelt and another who is on an international crime spree of his own. In this classic black comedy, a merry mix of love, murder and mayhem create a great classic night at the theatre.
