AUDITION for TAP DANCERS/SINGERS FOR CANADIAN PRODUCTION of ANYTHING GOES & 2025 SEASON
The Shaw Festival is seeking artists with advanced tap dancing skills and singing ability for our 2025 production of Cole Porter’s ANYTHING GOES.
AUDITION DATE: December 11, 2024
LOCATION: Open Jar Studios, 1601 Broadway
GROUP TAP CALLS: 11:00am-1:00pm
SINGING CALLS: 2:00pm-6:00pm
Artists will be required to learn a tap routine in a group call. They should be prepared to sing in the afternoon and may be asked to harmonize with other singers.
POTENTIAL OUTSIDE DATES of CONTRACT: February 11 – October 5, 2025. Pay scale starts at $1250CAD/wk (approx. $890USD/wk)
The Shaw Festival is one of North America’s largest repertory theatre companies. In 2025, the festival will present over 14 productions and multiple theatrical events across five unique venues. Each performing artist works within the repertory system and will appear in other mainstage shows and events.
Any American artist cast in the Shaw Festival 2025 season must be an Equity member in good standing and hold a valid passport.

Agreement: American members of Equity will be contracted under a reciprocal agreement with Canadian Actors Equity Association. All performance artists working at the Shaw Festival are contracted under the Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA)
