Oyster Mill Playhouse in Camp Hill is holding auditions for the first show of its 2015 season, the drama, An Inspector Calls. Auditions will be held Sunday, November 9 and Monday, November 10 at 7 p.m.
Those interested in auditioning need not prepare a monologue; they should come dressed comfortably. There will be readings from the script and British accents are required.
An Inspector Calls takes place on a single night in 1912, focusing on the prosperous middle-class Birling family. A man arrives, calling himself Inspector Goole, who questions the family about the suicide of a young working-class woman. Family members are interrogated and revealed to have been responsible for the young woman's exploitation, abandonment and social ruin, effectively leading to her death.
An Inspector Calls is written by J.B. Priestley and produced with special arrangement by Samuel French, Inc. For more information, including character descriptions and performance dates, visit
