HOUSTON – The Alley Theatre will hold 2018-2019 Seasonal Auditions for Houston actors on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2018.

2018-2019 Seasonal Auditions for Houston actors will be Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Alley Theatre. Auditions will be for AEA and non-AEA adult actors, ages 18 and older. Auditions will be by appointment only, and may be scheduled beginning Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Actors should prepare two contrasting monologues (1 classical and 1 contemporary) that together do NOT exceed three minutes in length. Please bring a current headshot and resume. No phone calls please.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-AEA ACTORS
To be eligible for auditions & casting all non-AEA actors auditioning must be at least 18 years old; must live within a 50-mile radius of downtown Houston; and must be available for weekday and weekend rehearsals.

ABOUT THE ALLEY THEATRE
The Alley Theatre, one of America’s leading not-for-profit theatres, is a nationally recognized performing arts company led by Interim Artistic Director James Black and Managing Director Dean R. The Company reaches over 200,000 people each year through its performance and education programs. Its audience enrichment programs include pre-show and post-performance talks, events, and workshops for audience members of all ages.
