A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL

LLT’s next production is their big annual musical. This November, they’ll present the brand-new musical version of everyone’s #1 favorite Christmas movie, A CHRISTMAS STORY.

Remember? The nine-year-old boy that only wants a Red Ryder B.B. Gun for his present? The crazed dad that wins the infamous ‘Leg Lamp’? The ‘triple-dog-dare’ to stick a tongue to a frozen flagpole???

Director Wess Hughes and Musical Director Michelle Howells have auditions set for September 10-11 at the Arabian at 7pm each night. Choreographer for the show is Megan Lee Hunter, and Will Hodges will serve as Assistant Director.

They’ll need a cast of 40 adults (high school ages included with adults) and 20 students (ages 8 and up). Besides the stage cast, there will also be a pit chorus that sings off-stage and has limited rehearsals.

LLT always encourages first-timers to come be in a show. No preparation or previous stage experience is necessary - and they make it easy-breezy if you've never auditioned before. You can bring a prepared piece to sing, or if you've never auditioned before, you just come and sing along with everyone on a song.

They’re also looking for help on sets, costumes and backstage work. Drop a line if you're interested in becoming an LLT volunteer!
