AUDITION DATES/TIMES:

MSIP will be holding auditions in CHICAGO on Monday, December 6 (10:00am to 7:00pm ) and Tuesday, December 7 (10:00am to 7:00pm). Callbacks will be held on December 10, also in Chicago. To be considered for an audition, please email your headshot and resume (including a teaching resume if you have one) to msipproductionmanager@gmail.com by November 29, 2021. If chosen, an MSIP representative will contact you directly to schedule your audition.

If you are selected for an audition, please prepare two contrasting Shakespeare monologues (combined, not exceed 3 minutes in total). Additionally, please bring two headshots, two acting resumes (also, teaching resumes if you have one), and an instrument (no ukulele or piano) - if you plan to add music to your audition it still should not exceed 3 minutes. Ability to sing or play musical instruments is highly desired.

MSIP is committed to diversity and seeks to promote a positive model of inclusion. We encourage performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages, service in the uniformed services, and veteran status to apply.

Our Shakes! and SIS tours are particularly interested in hiring actors with an interest and ability to be effective teaching artists, as well as actors. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our office at (406) 994-3111.

We will consider recorded audition pieces, though live auditions are always preferable. If sharing a recorded audition, you must post your audition to YouTube and provide us with a link. The deadline for recorded applications is Wednesday, December 1, 2021 with decisions on hiring following live auditions.
