CDC Theater is proud to present auditions for The 2017 Short Play Festival featuring Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays

Audition Information:
May 7, 2017 at 7:30 pm
May 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm

Performance Dates:
Thursday, September 7th, 2017
Friday, September 8th, 2017 and
Saturday, September 9th, 2017

Audition and Performance Location:
CDC Theater
78 Winans Avenue Cranford, NJ

Please note that this is a non-equity, non-paying production. This is a charity event and a portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

Audition Information:
Audition sides will be provided. Rehearsal conflicts must be presented at the time of auditions.

All roles are open at this time.

Actors must be 18 years or older to audition. Rehearsals will be held in August 2017.

Festival Programming: The festival will consist of fourteen short plays and monologues about gay marriage. These include the nine pieces from Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. The pieces were written by Paul Rudnick, Mo Gaffney, Jordan Harrison, Moises Kaufman, Neil LaBute, Wendy Macleod, Jose Rivera, Doug Wright, Terrence McNally, Merridith Allen, John Augustine, and others.

Cast: We are looking to cast 6 men and 6 women (including 1 trans woman). Each cast member will be cast in at least two roles in two different pieces.
