Deana’s Educational Theater (DET) acts to prevent violence by providing comprehensive educational theater programs to diverse audiences. DET’s approach to violence prevention includes educational performances, interactive discussions, theater workshops, and professional training programs for staff, parents and the community.
DET is now casting actor/facilitators for their 2014-2015 season.
Auditions will be held at the Davis Square Theatre 255 Elm Street, Somerville, MA on Monday, August 4th between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Callbacks will be held TBA at our Wakefield office.
Prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue. Sides for shows will only be available at the audition and assigned as needed. Bring headshots with you to the audition.
All actors perform in multiple shows. All rehearsals and performances are paid.
We currently are seeking:
Male Company Members: (20’s-30’s) energetic, youthful, ability to connect directly with audience, will portray college age, teens, and younger.
Female Company Members: (20’s-30’s) energetic, youthful, ability to connect directly with audience, will portray college age, teens, and younger.
Appointments will be scheduled at 5 minute intervals.
