Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place in Baltimore, MD five (5) days a week: four (4) nights during the weekday from 7:00pm - 11:00pm and one weekend day from 9:00am - 6:00pm. Exact rehearsal dates and times are specific to production needs and may vary based on the production itself. The above information should be used as a general guideline as you review your availability.
Performances
All productions perform 8 performances over the course of two weeks at the historic Baltimore Theatre Project located at 45 West Preston Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
Payment
Actor’s Equity Association: Equity Special Appearance Contract available.
Non-Equity: A multi-hundred dollar stipend is paid following the successful completion of all performances.
Housing
Local performers preferred. Limited Housing options may be available.

What to Prepare
Please be prepared to present a memorized monologue from a published piece of theatre and/or a musical theatre selection of your choice that best shows-off your range and ability. Both selections (in any order and/or cut) should not exceed three minutes in length. You may be asked to read/sing from your book and/or the script/score of the production you are auditioning for. Singing from the production itself is acceptable. A live accompanist will be provided.
More Information
Auditions will be held by appointment. Walk-in's are welcome and will be seen as time permits. If you are unable to attend the auditions but are able to secure housing in the DMV area, you may submit your audition via video to
casting@ironcrowtheatre.org. All actors who are interested in auditioning in person should register for an audition appointment below. In most cases, you must be available for callbacks in order to be considered for final casting. Callback information detailing what material to review will be sent via email as soon after auditions as is possible. Please note that callbacks are scheduled to take place shortly following the audition date. It is our recommendation that you familiarize yourself with the piece prior to the auditions and callbacks.
Callback Date, Time, and Location
Those actors who are invited to callbacks will receive specific information detailing exactly when they will be needed for the callback session and what material to prepare. In most cases, actors must be available for the callback session to be considered for final casting. Callbacks for Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties will take place Tuesday, July 30 at 9:00pm. The View UpStairs and Homos, or Everyone in America may host callbacks on Saturday, August 3. The Rocky Horror Show may host callbacks on Sunday, September 22.
