Language of Living at Opera House

Join The New Zealand Dance Company on its first North Island tour with its acclaimed production Language of Living.

The brave and beautiful short works in the programme showcase some of this country’s finest dancers in innovative choreography by Sarah Foster-Sproull, Justin Haiu and NZ Arts Laureates Michael Parmenter and Shona McCullagh.

Wellington audiences will also be treated to the New Zealand premier of the company’s first international work, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s Faune, as well as live music by NZTrio.

Brought to life by a visual feast of stunning costume, video and set design and an exquisite soundtrack, Language of Living is an immersive and thrilling evening of dance for aficionados and newcomers alike.
