A Glass Of Wine will be presented as part of The 3rd Annual New York Clown Theatre Festival

"Would it be nice to relax with a glass of wine? What could possibly go wrong? Everything! When a simple task becomes a grand ordeal Daniel persists with breathtaking skill and enlightening humor despite insurmountable odds, revealing how one step is a journey of 1,000 mile," describes press notes.

Created and performed by Daniel Forlano, who the press has praised as “quirky in the extreme” (Capitol Times, New Zealand). Avner (the Eccentric) Eisenberg has hailed him as “the Steven Wright of physical theatre".

Daniel was born in the Virgo Supercluster at the outer limits of the Milky Way Galaxy near a star known locally as the Sun on a planet where the food is quite good. He graduated from Hampshire College where he studied Theatre and Dance Performance. His senior seriocomic monologue, In Stitches, brought return audiences and won him a grant to continue work on stage. When his college advisor offered him a recommendation to attend Harvard University he decided comedy was the smarter option. He has since performed at such adored venues as the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival, The Cape Town International Comedy Festival, The Wellington Fringe Theatre Festival, and the Krystallpalast Variete, Germany. He also played the lead role in the short film Eugene that won Best Student Film at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. When he isn't climbing ladders he likes to climb rocks.

The show will be performed at the Brick Theater (www.bricktheater.com)

Friday September 12 at 7 pm
Sunday September 14 at 7:30 pm
Wednesday September 17 at 8 pm

Tickets are available at the door or through theatermania.com
