For Immediate Release: The Mayor's Office of Cultural Economy and NOLA Voice Theatre proudly present "The Professor Carl Nivale Show" to the citizens and visitors to New Orleans in four free public shows February 7th, 8th, and 9th in the Ty Tracy Theatre in historic Gallier Hall. Starring New Orleans TV personality Professor Carl Nivale (Vatican Lokey) with co-star Grand Marshal Marty Graw (Edward R. Cox), it's admission day at Kings College of Carnival Knowledge. Two new students have been caught cheating on their entrance exams. But the Professor and the Grand Marshal see some potential in them and, with the help of their audience of "students and alumni" they explore the rich history and culture of Mardi Gras in a bouncy, glittering production featuring games, prizes, a parade, and free king cake for all after class! The production also features Camille Griffin as Arty and Stephen Denning as Louie. Sets, Props and Costumes by Simply Stunning Designs-NOLA. Lights and Sound by Jim Holmes and Lobby Hostess Margeaux Fanning. In addition to ten daytime school performances the week of February 3rd, "The Professor Carl Nivale Show" will present four public performances February 7th, 8th, and 9th. All performances are free admission, but making reservations is highly encouraged. For showtimes and seat reservations, go to:carlnivale.eventbrite.com
