New Paradigm Theatre will present the musical Hairspray in August 2025, set in 1962 Baltimore, where teenagers advocate for racial integration on a popular TV show. This production offers students aged 8-19 the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, including special guest stars from the original Hairspray, while participating in professional rehearsals and leadership workshops focused on equity and inclusion. The performances will take place at Stratford High School, with a commitment to fostering dialogue about discrimination and community involvement.
