Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright August Wilson, How I Learned What I Learned is Wilson’s poetic one-man autobiographical show journeying through love, adversity, and self-discovery in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Originally performed by Wilson himself, How I Learned What I Learned is a stunning self-portrait of one of the strongest voices in the American Theatre. Lance E. Nichols, best remembered as dentist Larry Williams on the HBO series Treme, takes on the role of August Wilson. Directed by Jade King Carroll. Co-conceived by Todd Kreidler.
Run Time: approximately 1 hour 40 minutes with no intermission
