Tickets are now on sale for Evangeline the Musical In Concert. The 10th anniversary production of this blockbuster hit is running one weekend only as a benefit for Playmakers of Baton Rouge, Louisiana's only professional theatre for young audiences.
Evangeline the Musical will be performed December 3th-5th in the Visual and Performing Arts Center at Episcopal School with 7:30 p.m. performances on Friday, Dec. 4th and Saturday, Dec. 5th with a possible Saturday matinee.
The special opening night performance on Thursday, December 3rd is at 8pm and will include a dessert and champagne preshow reception and a silent auction for a ticket price of $50. Friday and Saturday night performances are $25. Tickets are general admission and are on sale on the Playmakers' website www.playmakers.net. Returning as Director of the production is Paige Gagliano, with Paul Taranto, co-creator, returning as Music Director/Conductor. Performers who will reprise their roles for the benefit production include Andre Chapoy as Father Felician, Jamie Wax, co-creator, as Matt from Ville Platte, Melanie Couvillon as Praline, Danny Palminteir as Basil, Celeste Angelle Veillon as Madame Hebert, and Mike Katchmer as Winslow.Videos
