Jefferson Performing Arts Society is proud to present the Playbill Stage Production of PRELUDE TO A KISS by Craig Lucas for two performances only Friday, June 24 and Saturday June 25, 2011 with performances at 7:30PM at JPAS Teatro Wego! Theatre (177 Sala Avenue in Westwego) as a fundraiser for the upcoming JPAS 34th Season. Tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors/Students/Military. This show is not recommended for children. PRELUDE TO A KISS stars Will Schneider, Andrea Watson, Richard Hutton, James Wright, Madeline Feldman, Angela Breckenridge, Andy Elliott and Clifton Beary. All proceeds from these two performances will benefit the programming of JPAS in their upcoming season where they will present over 140 performances across 10 venues throughout the state of Louisiana and extending all the way to Mississippi!
Craig Lucas' heartfelt and stirring drama comes to life at Teatro Wego! Theatre. At Peter (played by Will Schneider) and Rita's (played by Andrea Watson) wedding, a mysterious man (Richard Hutton) insists on kissing the bride. While honeymooning, Peter Gradually realizes that the woman by his side is not his wife. The wedding kiss caused Rita's soul and the old man's soul to change places. Peter must track down the old man and free his young love's spirit trapped in an aging and diseased body before it's too late.

OUTREACH JPAS provides arts education programming in local area schools, as well as access to professional theatrical experiences that align to classroom curricula and Louisiana Content Standards, including Arts Adventure Series, Cultural Crossroads and Stage Without A Theatre. JPAS provides performers, musicians, artistic experiences and expertise to select area events and organizations to enrich the community.
