The New Orleans Shakespeare Festival at Tulane, New Orleans' professional classical theatre company, will close out its 24th Season with a magical production of Shakespeare's The Tempest.
"This play, considered to be the last play Shakespeare wrote alone, is an enthralling story about love, loss, and what's important in life," says Clare Moncrief, the show's director.
Wrongly accused and exiled for twelve years, Prospero sets out for revenge - and in the process, finds redemption. Both magical and moving, Shakespeare's masterpiece questions what it means to love and to forgive. It's a tale that the whole family will enjoy.
The show's cast features some of the region's most respected actors, as well as a few fresh faces. For more about the cast, visit neworleansshakespeare.org/performers.
