New Orleans native and Tony Award winner Mary Louise Wilson has joined the cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore at Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré opening July 19. Director Carl Walker recruited Mary Louise Wilson, one of Broadway's most successful actresses for the New Orleans debut of the Nora and Delia Ephron off-Broadway hit. Ms. Wilson's star-studded career includes a Tony award for her 2007 performance in Grey Gardens and a Tony nomination for Cabaret before that. She has appeared in numerous Broadway and off-Broadway productions, television and film. She grew up in New Orleans and has returned to the city since Katrina several times, including a previous fundraiser for the historic French Quarter community theatre and to teach an acting class at Tulane University.

Other talented New Orleans actresses that will perform in one or more of six performances include Leslie Castay, Tracey Collins, Lara Grice, Cecile Monteyne, Clare Moncrief, Nell Nolan, Janet Shea and Carol Sutton.

The show features five actresses on stage reminiscing about meaningful events in their lives and what they wore at the time. The play runs two weekends and will feature a different cast ensemble each week. The ensemble for each week will be announced and posted on www.lepetittheatre.com.

A principle goal of Le Petit Theatre is to support the local theatre community and to put local actors and production personnel to work. Le Petit is reaffirming that commitment by casting eight actors who live here, plus a Broadway actress who has long supported Le Petit and her hometown's theatre industry.

Love, Loss and What I Wore runs on Fridays and Saturdays, July 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 8 pm and a Sunday matinee on July 21 and 28 at 3 p.m. Ticket prices range from $30 to $50 and may also be purchased online at www.lepetittheatre.com .
