On Monday, October 23rd at 7:30pm at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre, 616 St. Peter St. (in the French Quarter), will host "Footlights for Houston," a Hurricane Harvey relief benefit for the Houston theatre community.
The New Orleans Theater Network will be presenting a benefit concert to raise money for the artists of the Houston Theatre Community. As Houston was a sister city and area of relocation for many New Orleans theatre artists during Hurricane Katrina, NOTN will reciprocate this goodwill by hosting a one-of-a-kind concert to raise assistance money for the devastation created by Hurricane Harvey.
"Footlights for Houston" will be hosted by Kimberly Clark (aka Chris Giarmo) and will feature performances by NOLA favorites Bryan Batt, Leslie Castay, and Sunni Patterson, as well as numerous theatre companies including Flying Circus Space, JPAS (Chicago), Le Petit Theatre (Once On This Island & The Last Five Years), The NOLA Project & UNO Theatre (Urinetown), Rivertown Theatres, See 'Em On Stage (Thrill Me), Southern Rep Theatre (Fun Home), Summer Lyric Theatre at Tulane (Hairspray) and many more.
Tickets start at $25. For tickets or additional information, go to www.nola-theater.com/footlights.
