It's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.In the Little Village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Society's Arts Adventure Series presents kid-friendly main stage productions to school groups at discounted rates during the weekday. JPAS also provides FREE Coordinating lesson plans and study guides are available for all Arts Adventure Series performances. Admission is only $5-10 for students.
