"Uncle" Wayne Daigrepont will be presenting a special live storytelling, with puppets, of Dr. Seuss's Mr Brown Can Moo! Can You? For 20 years, Porta-Puppet Players has delighted audiences with original and innovative puppets and a wide range of specialty acts.

From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas, he is certainly fun to play with. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure.

On the performance of the 13th, we invite the audience to bring their favorite plush toy to meet the puppet characters from Mr Brown Can Moo! Can You?

Featuring the talents of Rachel Pace, Tenea Intriago, Coldin Grundmeyer, Bella Florence, Kristin Blatchford, and Christopher Torma. The creative team includes direction by Phillip A. Benson, scenic design by Kristin Blatchford, costume design by Abbey Vitrano, and sound design by Nicholas Frederick. Roya Ritchson is the Stage Manager.

Founded in 1978 by Maestro Dennis G. Assaf and Hannah Cunningham, the Jefferson Performing Arts Society is a non-profit professional arts organization whose mission is to promote arts performance, training, and outreach by providing a diverse range of quality programs that entertain, educate and enrich the cultural and economic vitality of Jefferson Parish, Greater New Orleans and the Gulf South.
