The director, choreographer and a dozen members of the cast of HAIR, now on stage at Le Petit Theatre, will present an educational program for students entitled "Music and Movement," as part of Le Petit's "Because We Can" theatre arts initiative, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Troy Poplous and Clayton Shelvin will teach approximately 100 public school students about musical theatre and choreography. Lead actors IDella Johnson, Kirk Gagnon and Jake Loup will perform songs like Good Morning Starshine, Frank Mills, Aquarius and Let the Sunshine In.

Providing theatre arts education to our city's youth is a key part of the historic community theatre's mission and an important part of Le Petit's comeback in its newly restored facility.

The popular rock musical, HAIR, is currently on stage at Le Petit Theatre through November 23. For tickets, visit www.lepetittheatre.com or call 504-522-2081.
