After shows, it's our big Fringe Friday Tent Party! Featuring the vagabond melodies of Marygoround & The AppleCheeked Boys. Then Chuck Perkins & Voices of the Big Easy bring jazz and blues musicians alongside poets, rappers, singers and Mardi Gras Indians. FREE! (and beer is cheap: $2 Abita Amber draft beer) 11 pm until. At the Festival Tent on the Corner of Press and Dauphine, November 13.

Come to the Fringe Parade, Saturday November 14, 3 pm!
Join the Goodchildren Social Aid & Pleasure Club for the second annual Fringe Festival Parade. Parade route: St. Claude Avenue starting from Poland and ending at Marigny. Music by the fabulous Goodchildren Band, neighborhood favorite Drumcart, Grand Marshall is Ms. Pearl of Kamp Katrina fame, theme is "Off the Rails Again," parading groups include Fringe performers, local subkrewes, arts groups and residents.

Fringe Festival tickets are cheap and easy.All Festival tickets are $7 (with one-time purchase of Fringe button) and all are general admission seating. A Fringe ticket will get you into any Fringe show (that means there are not specific tickets for specific shows). Buying them ahead of time is worth it: pre-sale tickets get priority seating at every show. Fringe fanatic? Get the 5-show pass for $30. Fringe shows are throughout New Orleans, primarily in the Marigny and Bywater.

Buskers Happy Hour Friday and Saturday, 5-7 pm. FREE!

5-7 pm Friday Local artists take the stage, including an excerpt from "You, Me & the Bedroom" by Meredith Mullins
5-7 pm Saturday hosted by Marygoround. Featured buskers include "Geronimo," by TJ Productions written by Philippe Deslias; Steven Cannezzaro presents Russian animation w/guitar accompaniment; Michael Patrick Welch presents school kids' rap songs and writings in a multimedia show; James Avatar and "New Vaudeville for a New Depression"; and hula hoop contest with Marygoround!Sign up for Buskers' Happy Hour at the Festival Tent on November 13 from 5-7 pm.
