The Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans (CAC) is pleased to present the latest work from the critically-acclaimed New Orleans theater company, Goat in the Road Productions. Foreign to Myself--set for a multi-day run at the CAC on May 18-21, 2017--is a visually-stunning production in which performers utilize historical accounts, personal interviews, scientific research, dark humor, immersive sound design, and precise physicality to explore an unsettlingly common occurrence.
Goat in the Road has spent the last two plus years connecting with military veterans, families, and medical experts to build this fast-moving, darkly funny play about the daily life of the returning veteran in exploration of the many ways they remember how to navigate the world.
