Bryan Batt to Bring BATT ON A HOT ROOF to Le Petit Theatre, 3/30

Broadway, TV, Film actor and native New Orleanian Bryan Batt brings his world renown one-man show, "BATT ON A HOT TIN ROOF" back home to Le Petit Theatre as a benefit for the theatre and The Forum For Equality for one show only, on Sunday March 30th at 7 p.m.

Batt, a member of the boards of both Le Petit Theatre and The Forum for Equality, has performed the show around the world since its original performance as a post-Katrina benefit.

"Audiences from New York to Los Angeles to London and Australia have enjoyed the show and it's been a lot of fun sharing the songs and the music. It's great to perform again at Le Petit for two wonderful causes - Le Petit Theatre and The Forum for Equality."

Batt originated the show in 2005 right after Katrina. He was asked by then proprietor of Le Chat Noir, Barbara Motley, to put together a benefit for the displaced actors, and although a veteran of 9 Broadway and many off -Broadway shows, he had never done a one-man cabaret. The show has drawn crowds and rave reviews ever since.
