Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre and Producer Mark Cortale are producing a night of "Broadway @ Le Petit" starring legendary two-time Tony winner Chita Rivera in two shows tonight, April 19. Ms. Rivera will be joined by Sirius XM Radio's Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host for an evening of unforgettable music and conversation. Broadway @ Le Petit is made possible by the generous support of the New Orleans Hotel Collection. Mark Cortale is producing Chita Rivera as the finale of the concert series that was previously held at NOCCA.

Chita Rivera originated the Broadway roles of Anita in West Side Story, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, and Velma in Chicago. A recipient of the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor, Ms. Rivera has won two Tony Awards as best leading actress in a musical and has received six additional Tony Award nominations. She most recently appeared on Broadway in Chita Rivera: the Dancer's Life, the story of her own life in the theater. Among her many other celebrated stage credits are The Rink, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Nine, and Zorba. Rivera also played Nicky in the film version of Sweet Charity with Shirley MacLaine.

Seth Rudetsky is the afternoon host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio's On Broadway as well as the host of Seth Speaks on Sirius/XM Stars. As a pianist, Seth has played for more than a dozen Broadway shows including Ragtime, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera. He is currently starring in the Off-Broadway musical Disaster that he also co-wrote.
