Wadada Leo Smith, a renowned trumpeter and composer, will showcase over 50 years of his Ankhrasmation art-scores in a solo exhibition at the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The opening weekend features a performance by the RedKoral Quartet, which will debut Smith's complete *String Quartet No. 17*, inspired by Washington D.C., along with two compositions by Pulitzer Prize winner Raven Chacon. The exhibition, titled Kosmic Music, will run from September 26, 2024, to July 3, 2025, highlighting Smith's innovative approach to blending visual art and music.
