Hailing from North Jersey, Gerry Mastrolia has been entertaining audiences since the age of three with his Three Stooges routines in the living room. With a deep-rooted passion for musical theater, Mastrolia has performed in various beloved productions, including "Hairspray" and "Seussical." His professional career took off in New York, where he garnered recognition for his work in the off-Broadway show "Totally Tubular Time Machine" starring Debbie Gibson. Mastrolia's debut solo cabaret show, "Very Gerry," was met with critical acclaim and played at renowned venues such as Don't Tell Mama and The Metropolitan Room. His Golden Girls journey began with "Thank You for Being a Friend: The Musical," followed by his one-woman show, "Beatrice Arthur: Astral Dame." Christopher Eklund, starring as "The Blanche," is absolutely enamored with the fabulous women of The Golden Girls and has been a devoted fan since a young age, having seen every single episode long before puberty. Eklund's previous theatrical credits include notable performances opposite RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 queen, Mrs. Kasha Davis. With his remarkable talents and infectious charm, Eklund brings the iconic character of "The Blanche" to life on stage. Schmidt, and Mason Griffin, The Golden Gays NYC embarked on a mission to create Golden Girls musicals they themselves would love to see on stage.
