That voice. That power. That personality! There’s nobody in the world like Patti LuPone — and aren’t we lucky to bear witness to her singular talents? The Tony-winning singer and actress changed American theater forever unforgettable performances in Company, Evita, Sweeney Todd, Anything Goes and Gypsy, performances which established her as a true Broadway legend. In this concert performance, Patti treats the audience to indelible interpretations of unexpected pop hits and American songbook classics –touchstones and reflections on her life growing up in America, as well as electrifying performances of her best-known Broadway songs.
The American Song series at NJPAC is presented, in part, through the generous support of the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation, the David S. Steiner and Sylvia Steiner Charitable Trust, the Joan and Allen Bildner Family Fund, and the Smart Family Foundation/David S. Stone, Esq., Stone & Magnanini.
