The Paper Moon Puppet Theater was established in 1989, by Artistic Director James Racioppi, a master in of the art of creating and performing with marionettes for over 40 years. Racioppi’s work has been featured o The Captain Kangaroo Show, Kumquats, with Wayland Flowers and Madame and in numerous off-Broadway productions. On January 27, 2019, at 2 pm the Brook Arts Center is proud to announce, The Paper Moon Puppeteer will bring to the Brook stage the original tale of The Sleeping Beauty, a beautiful princess who falls under a witch’s spell and sleeps for 100 years The lovable fairies, a court jester and a little dog add to the story’s timeless charm. Guests will enjoy an interactive pre-show with the puppets before the main performance and are invited after the show to ask questions about the performance.
