PHILADANCO! will present How We Sustain as part of Rowan University's Marie Rader Presenting Series. Celebrated for its preservation of African American dance traditions, the company celebrates its 55th year with innovative works from esteemed guest choreographers, exploring themes of natural cycles and spiritual power. Co-Artistic Director Kim Bears-Bailey and Associate Artistic Director Janine Beckles will lead the performance, which also engages local high school dancers through workshops and masterclasses.
