It's a British Invasion and a Doo Wop show all wrapped into one spectacular concert this fall at the State Theatre!Peter Noone is a multi-talented entertainer. Growing up as a child actor, Noone starred in the long-running British soap Coronation Street. He is best known to American audiences as Herman since he was age 15. His classic hits include: Im into Something Good, Mrs. Brown, Youve got a Lovely Daughter, "I'm Henry the 8th, I Am," Silhouettes, Cant You Hear my Heartbeat, Theres a Kind of Hush, and Listen People. Hermans Hermits have sold over 60 million records and earned seven gold albums.Making their State Theatre debut, The Doo Wop Project takes you on a journey through the evolution of the doo-wop sound. Featuring stars of Broadways Jersey Boys and Motown The Musical, The Doo Wop Project is a mashup of old-school style for a new generation.
